Freshly Cooked is a creative studio founded in 2018 and based in North Texas.

As a husband and wife team (the Cooks), we believe collaboration and creativity are the bread and butter of each project. Our complimentary skillsets, scrappy can-do attitudes, and grit help us make delicious stories that resonate with brands, audiences, and individuals. Behind the scenes, you’ll find us chilling to lo-fi beats, sketching ideas on an iPad, enjoying sunny afternoons, and sharpening our board game skills.

  • Founder + Creative Director + Motion

    Matt’s all about animation, After Effects, and business strategy. He’s equipped with a graphic design degree (shoutout CBU) to tackle visual aesthetics and bring projects from start to finish. On the weekends, you’ll find Matt working in the backyard, gaming, or trying to play with the neighbor’s dog.

  • Designer + Illustrator

    Jess loves sketching, design, and illustration, with a bit of photography mixed in. Her time at the Art Center College of Design brought a unique insight into creative problem-solving and seeing design through a new lens. She loves raspberries, rainy days, and tuxedo cats.
